my iPod works great. Anyways, it is possible it is hunting in the wrong area for the library and you can open it up like said above to manually find the location of your library. Ive tried doing what you said but it still comes up. I have the exact same problem, would really appreciate advice if anyone has a solution.

I tried it, created a new folder, moved the old files into it, but the tunes don't show up in my iTunes interface, and they won't sync to my iPod.
