You need to recreate the custom IPSW or simply download it from internet! I finally got 4.2.1 on there. Because jumping from iOS 4.x.x to iOS 4.y.y on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G (MB) also requires SHSH blobs. Please can you help us with your suggestions?
Sure your restore will go through, but it will always be a tethered JB which will eventually kick you into a DFU once its screen locks. Idk if this works with stock FW.
