And checked permissions on the driver? In filezilla you can see the owner/group of each file/folder in the far right column. If I try to go directly to a page I know exists, such as http://127.0.0.1/?q=node/110 I got an Access Denied error. mv .* .. There is one in / and usually there are other .htaccess files that must be modified too, for instance in sites/default/files. It also went further. No more errors on the log.
