There are good reasons that "safe mode" has been kicked out of PHP 6. As a test, i've chmodded /tmp to 777, but that didn't help.

So I have to ask, does this mean that now you have a file stored in /tmp, which was created by a php script? Open your wp-config.php file.

Php is the SAME file as before. Permissions are only considered after that. Should be a working workaround with safemode. I just get this annoying message.
