My symptoms were (before iFuntastic): iTunes wouldn't recognize it So i put it in DFU/Recover Mode, it wouldn't exit out of it!!!!! After you do this you should be able to access your iPod as a "Removable Disc" on your computer through My Computer (if your using a PC). check over here
When viewing the connection under Windows Explorer, it showed only my network connection mapped to Drive E, not the iPod. You should see the Apple Logo on the screen and a progress bar at the bottom that wasn't there before. This is happening to me, does anybody have a solution, I have gone into disk mode, and the same thing happens. Ipod Unknown Error If you see this then the restore was a success!!!
